The EU has adopted further sanctions against Russia, tightening export controls on items classified as advanced technology, and items used in the defence sector of Russia. Items intended for ensuring cyber-security and information security now require an authorisation prior to export, and financial restrictions on accepting deposits have been strengthened. Finally, the new measures update the asset freeze lists with new listings of individuals and entities.
