Banking & Finance:
The banking and finance group covers the full spectrum of banking and finance law, including acquisition and project financing, leasing and bond issues. The group’s well-respected lawyers always strive to be at the forefront of banking developments providing advice on establishing, acquiring, merging and liquidating banks and other financial institutions, establishing branches of foreign financial institutions, all regulatory issues concerning financial institutions and offering of financial business.
The capital markets group offers specialist advice on all aspects of securities law and traditionally acts on the largest IPOs. Members of the group have extensive experience in acting for both issuers and underwriters in national as well as international public offerings of Danish securities. The group also assists prospective bidders and Danish listed companies in take-over bids.
Gorrissen Federspiel has for a number of years acted as advisors in a large number of the most comprehensive and complex transactions in Denmark. The firm’s corporate/ mergers and acquisitions group has a leading role in many cross-border transactions. The shipping/offshore/transportation group is a leading adviser within the Danish maritime, offshore and transportation industries.
