The memory reader may remember it. In September 2019, the Entrepreneurship Law (Law No. 19,820, “the Law”) created the so-called simplified stock company, usually known by its acronym: “SAS”. The objective was very clear: to make available to entrepreneurs an agile, flexible vehicle, with a lower burden of procedures and bureaucracy and, therefore, with a lower cost. The objective was more than achieved: today, a little more than two years after the entry into force of that Law, the SAS has become the preferred legal vehicle of our businessmen (surpassing even the SRL -which until now had the leadership- and putting aside the de facto companies). The Law contemplated – and committed to the Executive Power – the constitution of the SAS by entirely digital means.
