Linda is a specialist in the area of intellectual property and technology law with more than 20 years of experience and heads this practice group in the firm. She is widely experienced in IP litigation and disputes (involving all IP rights – patents, copyright, industrial designs, trademarks, trade secrets and confidential information) and has represented clients and successfully argued cases at all levels of the courts in Malaysia including at the apex Federal Court. She has additionally acted as a mediator in IP disputes.

Linda also has in-depth experience and know-how in managing and implementing anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting programs for clients from diverse industries, ranging from luxury goods, liquor, food, pharmaceutical products to automobile parts and office consumables.

She continues to actively prosecute cases of IP rights which are difficult to register and manages work relating to the prosecution to grant of IP rights on behalf of her clients.

Linda has consistently been named as a leading individual in the top Band 1 by Chambers Asia Pacific and top Gold Band by World Trademark Review for her work in intellectual property. The World Trademark Review has described Linda as a “savvy lawyer”, with expertise that “inspires confidence in colleagues and customers alike” and “an experienced litigator that has won victories at all levels of the court system” and the Asia IP Profiles considers her an “outstanding IP practitioner”.
