Experience

  • Carolina is the leader of the Labor Department given her extensive experience in labor and social security law.
  • During her career, Ms. Soto has participated in different labor proceedings before the Supreme Court of Justice and has represented multiple multinational companies before government institutions. Likewise, she has been in charge of the largest conciliation processes locally, as well as having participated in various closures of operations of companies of various kinds. As part of an ongoing training program for clients of the firm, as well as for the general public, Carolina develops several seminars regarding labor law, every year. She has participated in merger, acquisition and integration processes that include the most important private banks in Costa Rica. Likewise, he has provided advice on labor material within multinational transactions that require, among many other needs, the standardization of working conditions of various complex companies. For more than 10 years he has advised companies that have more than 2,500 employees in Costa Rica, supporting in all the different stages of an employment relationship.
