Andrés is a BLP Partner in the San José office. His practice areas include Banking & Finance, of which he is co-director of the department, Private Equity & Venture Capital, Anti-money Laundering Compliance, and Real Estate & Hospitality.
In his more than 18 years of experience, he has represented a variety of national and transnational companies in daily operations, mergers and acquisitions, and private capital financing.
He co-directs the Banking & Finance practice, in which he has extensive experience in advising on loans and financing for banks, financial institutions, and multilateral organizations in the Central American region. Andrés has experience in financial advisory and multi-jurisdictional credits. The clients recognize his acuity and dedication in banking and financial regulation, as well as his extensive knowledge of the Costa Rican stock market.
In the practice of Real Estate & Hospitality, he has been involved in the development of the largest real estate projects in the coastal and urban areas of Costa Rica.
In 2005 he retired from the firm Gómez y Galindo after eleven years as an associate, to join BLP.
