Juan Camilo De Bedout is a Partner at Posse Herrera Ruiz. He leads the ​​tax, customs and transfer pricing litigation and controversy area. His professional practice focuses on tax planning, taxes, transfer pricing, tax and customs dispute and litigation.

Juan Camilo has extensive experience in administrative and judicial discussions with national and territorial tax authorities, as well as international issues. Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, he worked as a senior lawyer in an international consulting firm in ​​tax, controversy and tax litigation area.

He is the director and author of the Observatory of Tax Jurisprudence of the Colombian Institute of Tax Law (ICDT). He has been invited as a lecturer in different national and international academic scenarios, in procedure, controversy and tax litigation matters, he is a professor in the Tax Law postgraduate program in Universidad de los Andes, Externado de Colombia, EAFIT in Medellín and Universidad del del Norte in Barranquilla, he heads the Diploma program for Tax Procedure at the Colombian Institute of Tax Law (ICDT), is co-author of the Book of Tax Procedure of the Legis publishing house and participated in the commission of advisors in litigation and tax controversy of the Ten-Year Justice Tax Plan of the Ministry of Justice.

He has a J.D. from Universidad de los Andes and has a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from the same University. He speaks English and Spanish.
