Clara Jiménez joined Pérez-Llorca as a partner in September 2006. Clara has extensive experience in Public Administration and also in the private sector. She was Sub-Director of the General Sub-Direction of Legal Planning in the Department of Tax Inspections AEAT and Sub-Director of the Legal team of Bankinter, where she was head of the Tax Unit.

As an expert in Tax Law, Clara advises national and foreign clients on all types of tax law matters.

Experience

Clara advises national and international clients on all branches of Tax Law. Her experience and knowledge in this area ensures her clients receive technical, comprehensive advice and planning of the highest quality.

As an expert in her field, Clara offers legal tax advice with regard to Tax Rulings before the Tax Authorities and in inspections of a highly technical nature. Clara also defends the tax interests of her clients before the Tax Administration (collection procedures, administrative reviews) and in all judicial instances; she defines the tax classification of all types of financial and insurance products; she establishes the most adequate tax criteria in all types of transactions and reviews and adapts the tax regime applicable to all contracts, agreements, etc.

Academic and Publishing Collaborations

Clara regularly participates as a speaker in seminars and conferences as an expert in Tax Law and has written a wide variety of articles related to her area of expertise in specialist press publications. Clara is also the co-author of various books on Tax Law.
