I am one of the partners that founded Westerberg in 2019. Prior to founding Westerberg I was a partner at Lindahl and before that Rydin Carlsten. At Lindahl I was the head of the Dispute Resolution Group at Lindahl’s Stockholm office.

I am a dedicated lawyer and am fascinated by the power of argumentation based on the thorough analysis of a case. I believe that to be successful in a case it is essential to understand the larger context but also to keep track of the details. Based on such understanding I enjoy working out the arguments and presenting them as convincingly as possible in order to persuade the court or tribunal. Besides a high degree of personal attention, I also try to focus on the result and resolution of matters. Thus, I have helped many clients to reach favourable settlements where such have been in the best interest of the client. However, I do not hesitate to take matters to adjudication by courts or tribunals if settlement cannot be reached.

I work with commercial dispute resolution, focusing on international and domestic arbitration and domestic litigation. In particular, I have been involved in cases encompassing a wide range of areas such as supply and purchase agreements, share and asset purchases, agency and distribution, shareholders’ and cooperation agreements, licensing agreements and construction agreements. My experience covers a wide range of industry sectors, including cases in the oil and gas sector, the automotive industry, the financial industry and the banking sector, the pharmaceutical and life-science sector as well as in entertainment and sports. I also regularly act as arbitrator in cases concerning both international and domestic matters.

I am currently involved in significant cases involving claims for damages for defective deliveries in the industry sector as well as cases relating to damages for losses caused by alleged negligence. A significant achievement was in a case where I represented Kaupthing Bank in a group action before the Swedish courts which involved more than 450 separate cases. Other than that, I have successfully represented companies in the finance industry in arbitration and court proceedings in Sweden. I have also acted as counsel in several significant cases concerning set-aside or annulment of arbitral awards. Work highlights in that area include successful representation in cases defending or challenging several significant arbitral awards in the oil and gas sector and cases regarding enforcement of arbitral awards.

Besides Swedish I am fluent in English and have a basic knowledge of German.
