Magda Streuli-Youssef represents parties before courts and state authorities in all kind of intellectual property, media and unfair competition law matters. She has a broad litigation practice including several landmark court cases in the field of copyrights, trademarks and unfair competition law. Her practice areas also include IP strategies, drafting and negotiating licensing and publication agreements and advising clients in advertising, media and unfair competition law matters. She publishes and lectures regularly on various IP topics.

She was educated at the University of Zurich (lic. Iur. 1975, Dr. iur. 1978). She was admitted to the bar in 1980. Before joining Rentsch Partner Ltd. she worked as a partner in a leading law firm in Zurich. She was a member of the Federal Commission for the Exploitation of Copyrights and Neighboring Rights and former Vice-President of the Federal Appeals Commission for Intellectual Property.
