After qualifying at Istanbul University, Okan’s progression as a trademark, patent, and European patent attorney has seen him develop a reputation as a leading expert. He is known for managing complexity and ambiguity to achieve notable resolutions and results, including the first registration of color trademark in Turkey.

Fluent in English, Okan advises international organizations on IP strategy and establishes anti-generic programmes. His expertise extends to life sciences, technology licensing, personal data, privacy and the protection of image/celebrity rights.

As a regular guest speaker at IP and trademark seminars, universities, conferences, and training programmes, Okan’s legal experience and knowledge in IP litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is highly regarded. He is also a regular speaker at image and celebrity rights programmes, advising sports people, actors and specialist sectors.
