Kristin Bjella is head of our energy and environmental practice area. Kristin works with litigation, dispute resolution and negotiation, as well as M&As. She specializes in the energy, natural resources and real estate industries. Her expertise include administrative law, contract law, company law, expropriation law, as well as regulatory law in the field of energy.
Kristin is admitted to the Supreme Court and regularly conducts cases before Norwegian courts. She was a member of the expert committees drafting the proposal for the Norwegian Dispute Act and the Arbitration Act. She is experienced in arbitration, both as an arbitrator and counsel. In 2018, she acted as counsel for Finnmarkseiendommen before the Supreme Court in a plenary session on the right to land and natural resources in Finnmark.
In 2020, Bjella was ranked in the elite “Leading individuals” list in The Legal 500 EMEA 2020-guide.
