Andrew Mason is a member of Sullivan & Cromwell’s Tax Group. He is engaged in a wide variety of federal and state tax matters, including real estate, mergers, acquisitions, project finance, leveraged lease, joint ventures, international transactions and matters involving the Firm’s individual clients. Mr. Mason represents clients in connection with adjustments proposed by the Internal Revenue Service. He also has experience handling New York state tax controversies. Mr. Mason has successfully worked on matters in the New York conciliation process and has appeared before the New York Tax Tribunal.

Mr. Mason has lectured at a number of tax conferences and served as chairman of the Committee on Taxation of Partnerships and Other Pass-Through Entities of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. In 2009, he was named to Loyalty Alliance’s short list of trusted and well qualified tax attorneys.
