Partner and Head of Litigation

Israel has been with Dumont since 2009. He started as an associate in the civil, commercial, and criminal department, and today he is Partner at the firm and Head of Litigation.

Israel’s professional practice is focused on supervising and caring for civil, commercial, criminal, and intellectual property issues in all procedural stages from injunctions to constitutional appeals. He has almost 15 years of experience in the field and has previously worked with law firms specializing in litigation.

As Head of Litigation, Israel oversees the IP Litigation department, as well as the Civil, Commercial and Criminal division, being responsible for advising and representing the firm’s clients on litigation matters at all levels before the Mexican authorities. Throughout his professional career, Israel has successfully litigated a wide variety of matters from civil complaints to high-profile corporate lawsuits, setting precedents in our highest courts and helping shape the law.

In addition to litigation, his experience extends to matters related to Corporate Law including Compliance, Licensing, Agreements Drafting, Dispute Settlement Negotiations and Franchises.

Israel is an active member of the Asociación Mexicana para la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (AMPPI) and Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA).
