Campos Mello Advogados (CMA), in cooperation with DLA Piper, advised the Miami-based private investment firm 777 Partners in the negotiation and execution of a binding offer for the acquisition of 70 percent of the capital stock in Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama (Vasco), one of Brazil’s most historic football clubs.
777 Partners acquired a controlling interest in Vasco da Gama SAF, complying with the conditions established in the binding investment agreement executed by the parties on June 25. Additionally, 777 Partners will invest BRL$700 million in Vasco da Gama SAF.
