DLA Piper Chile: Strengthens the Data Protection and Intellectual Property practices with the addition of two new lawyers

DLA Piper Chile has incorporated two new lawyers to strengthen its Data Protection and Intellectual Property areas. They are Carla Illanes and Juan Cristóbal Ríos, who join as Counsel and Senior Associate, respectively.

Carla has a Law degree from Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción and a Master in Law of Regulated Sectors from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She has vast experience in information technologies, including topics such as open data, interoperability, electronic records and technology procurement, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.,

Juan Cristóbal is a lawyer from the Universidad de Chile and holds a master’s degree in Intellectual, Industrial Property and New Technologies from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He has experience in the areas of Intellectual Property, Data Protection, Cybersecurity and Life Sciences, with which the firm will enhance these matters.
