Shakarr focuses on patent prosecution in the life science and medical device industries.
Shakarr is currently finishing her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine (NYC). Her dissertation focuses on the therapeutic use of soluble adenylyl cyclase inhibitors. After she graduated with a B.A. in Biology from Wesleyan College, she completed research on blast-induced traumatic brain injuries at Virginia Tech as part of the school’s post-baccalaureate program (VT-PREP).
Shakarr is excited to transition into patent law as a patent technology specialist.
