Matt Lane has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s corporate practice as a partner
in its Boston office.
Lane focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate, private equity investments, and other general business transactions.
He represents developers and sponsors in the structuring of real estate investment funds in various classes, including investment in opportunity zone funds and businesses. Lane regularly represents clients in complex sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions across various industries.
In addition, Lane has a robust sports law practice where he represents athletes in the negotiation of endorsement contracts, athlete agent agreements, and other commercial rights. Lane also represents tax-exempt amateur athletic organizations. He has worked as a USA Track and Field authorized athlete agent and manager for many professional track and field athletes.
