Due to the complexity of the deal and the multiple jurisdictions, it involved several regional firms to advise both IMCD and Quelaris. Pellerano Nadal represented IMCD, counseling on all Dominican law related matters, with Arias Costa Rica serving as lead counsel to IMCD and coordinating all legal matters with the other IMCD local counsel, which included Arias’ offices in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, as well as Baker & McKenzie’s offices in Chile, Peru and Colombia.
The Pellerano Nadal team included Luis R. Pellerano, Urania Paulino and Eduardo Pellerano. This is the second transaction in which Pellerano Nadal, together with Arias, represent IMCD in the last year, where IMCD also acquired Andes Chemical.
