  • “Elf” Comm Ct, (1985) – shipbuilding – warranty defects;
  • “Hua Lien” Mobil Oil v Hong Kong United Dockyard, PC (1991) – successful negligence claim for failing to secure vessel against typhoon;
  • Czarnikow v Rolimpex [1979] AC 351 – force majeure (government export ban).;
  • “Sunshine Island” and “Eleni” – two large collision actions in Hong Kong HC.;
  • Tin Sui Wai – acting for Hong Kong Government in HC dispute over delay in forming site for new town development.;
  • LCIA arbitration over contractor client claim for payment under contract for oil pipeline and tanks in Kuwait.;
  • SIAC arbitration over dispute between oil major and Asian state relating to construction of gas pipelines.;
