- Works with companies at various stages of development and has represented clients in M&A transactions and other corporate transactions, private placements, and debt financing
- Advises clients on legal and business matters including entity formation, capitalization issues, capital–raising considerations, equity compensation alternatives, customer and vendor contracts, and license and supply agreements

- Vice President of Legal Affairs, NuVox Communications, Inc.
- Assisted the company in growing from an operation with 11 employees in Greenville, S.C., to approximately 1,100 employees operating in 31 markets across 15 states
- Company increased revenues from $0 in 1998 to approximately $314 million in 2004 during his tenure
- Assisted with merger and integration of NuVox and NewSouth Communications, Inc.
