Pamela is a Director of BLP in Guatemala. Her practice areas include Intellectual Property, Privacy & Data Protection and Advertising, Marketing & Consumer Protection.

During her five years as a lawyer, she has advised national and international organizations in all aspects related to the registration, protection, and defense of industrial property rights and copyright, including the licensing of assets, litigation, and anti-piracy matters.

She has assisted several companies in the treatment of privacy, personal data and new technologies, ranging from the execution of prevention audits to the preparation of notices and privacy policies, training of personnel, and legal defense against complaints.

She has significant experience analyzing from a legal perspective the advertising material of controlled products, managing licenses for commercial promotions, and advising on matters of consumer protection and unfair competition.

Pamela is recognized by the prestigious publication Chambers and Partners as a key figure in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice and is highly esteemed among clients for her technical knowledge and assertive response in complex cases.

After working at Palomo & Porras for seven years as a Legal Assistant and one as an Associate, followed by a year as Director of the Intellectual Property Department of Arenales & Skinner-Klee – LatamLex, Pamela joined BLP as an Associate in 2016.
