Mariana Pereira is a Partner at the Firm, holds a Specialization in Commercial Law from University of Salamanca and a Specialization in Commercial Law from Universidad Católica Boliviana and the Harvard Institute for International Development.

She heads the Corporate and Energy departments at IA and while doing so, she has had wide exposure to a broad range of legal matters providing commercial legal counsel to management teams and senior director level figures. Also led the firm’s largest M&A of companies, restructurings and tax planning projects become as a reliable advisor with high capacity to analyze and solve complex problems, advising sophisticated structures and finding solutions customized to the clients’ necessities.

In finance projects, advises clients on structuring and negotiating their most complex finance transactions, considered an expert in the analysis and negotiation of financial contracts among private companies, intended both for participation in new projects and financing, refinancing, bond issuance and preparation of public and private loan contracts.

In Energy matters, advises local and transnational companies on regulatory and contractual aspects in the industry including their relationship with the Governmental Regulator.
