Federico is a Director at the offices of BLP Nicaragua. His specialties include Business Law, Compliance & Anti-corruption, and Real Estate & Hospitality.

With over a decade of experience in the legal profession, he has developed great expertise in Business Law, accumulating experience advising on foreign investment projects in the country, in the negotiation and execution of business cooperation agreements, drafting parasocial agreements, sale and purchase of corporate shares and assets, and advice in everyday matters for local and international companies.

In Real Estate & Hospitality, he has prepared exhaustive due diligence studies for the purchase of properties in a variety of areas, including urban and tourist, agricultural, and residential. He has conducted property purchase negotiations, as well as advising on agricultural, residential and tourism development projects in the geographic locations of greatest interest to foreign investors.

In the practice area of Compliance and Anti-corruption, he has experience in the creation of risk matrices for companies and in the preparation of risk-based Compliance Plans for the prevention of asset laundering under the Money Laundering and Corruption Acts.

He joined the BLP team in 2015. Previously, he developed his own private practice as a legal advisor for entrepreneurs and investors. Prior to that, he worked as a junior associate at NRZ Law and was a volunteer and mediator at the Firm representing one of the most recognized universities in the country.
