Joaquín Ruiz Echauri joined Pérez-Llorca in 2020. Previously, he was the head of the Insurance and Reinsurance practice at a highly prestigious international firm.

Experience

Joaquín Ruiz Echauri has over 25 years of experience providing corporate, regulatory and litigious advice for the insurance and reinsurance industry.

During his career he has worked with major national and international clients on M&A transactions, bancassurance alliances, VIF reinsurance agreements, portfolio transfers, reorganisations and all types of corporate matters. From a regulatory point of view, he has provided legal advice on product design, contract interpretation and distribution of insurance and reinsurance and pension funds. Likewise, he is a recognised specialist in the dispute resolution field of the insurance sector and matters on product liability, where he has managed high-level litigation and arbitration disputes.
