Abhijit Joshi is the founding and managing partner of Veritas Legal, with a noteworthy career spanning more than 25 years. He specialises in private client, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.
Over the years, Abhijit has advised various business houses and promoter families on wealth and estate planning, including the formation and operations of trusts and succession planning. He has represented high-net-worth individuals on wealth preservation and business succession structures including wills, trust deeds, family agreements, applications for regulatory approvals and testamentary proceedings.
Abhijit has been recognised in India Business Law Journal’s “A-List: India’s top 100 lawyers”; recommended in the RSG India Report 2017 and 2019; ranked in the top tier for corporate/M&A by Chambers & Partners: Asia-Pacific; recognised as a “highly regarded” M&A lawyer by IFLR1000; and recommended for M&A, private client and corporate governance by WWL.
