As of 10 May 2022, the Greek TM Office will be integrated in the organisation of the Greek Patent Office (OBI) and Greece will have a single, unified IP Office.
Just over a year after the legislative adoption of this landmark change, and several years of debate on its need, use, pros and cons, it is now a reality. The change will be accompanied by a change of premises of the GR TM Office, which, will however still be housed separately from the Greek Patent Office.
Hopefully, the change will also mean further improvement of the services to the Greek IP Office users, whether lawyers and businesses, or individuals.
