Luz María Calvo and Andrea Von Chrismar, since September 2021 will asume as Counsels of the Tax and Regulation/ Competition areas, respectively. The purpose of this new position is to recognize their career paths, enhance their areas of expertise and respond to client needs.

Luz María Calvo has been a lawyer at Prieto since 2012, advising national and international clients in the tax area, optimizing and making more efficient the tax burden of their operations, business structures and contractual relationships. She earned her law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica (2012) and she completed a Diploma in Tax Planning from the School of Economics and Business of the Universidad de Chile (2017). Between 2018 and 2019 she worked as an advisor of the Tax Policies Departament of the Ministry of Finance.
Andrea Von Chrismar has more than 10 years of experience in antitrust and regulatory law in industries such as energy, telecommunications, infrastructure, health, digital platforms, among others. She earned her law degree from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2007), a Master in Business Law (2015) from the same university and a Master of Science in Regulation (2018) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Andrea and Luz María join Isabel Margarita Wolleter (Counsel of Capital Markets), Agustín Martorell (Counsel of Environment), Alejandra Bañados (Counsel of Corporate and Real Estate) and Federico Rodríguez (Counsel of Energy and Natural Resources).
